As a side note, I have read a Kristin Hannah previously -- Firefly Lane. Although I thought that book was a decent page-turner and had some interesting story lines, so far I am much preferring Night Road.
Kristan Hannah is one of my very favorite authors, but it's hard to believe she could write such an emotional book without some personal experience at the subject matter of this story. So very realistic and beautifully written. I had to take short breaks at times, as it really got to me. This is a book you'll always want to keep, and read again. And as I said at the start of this review.....I strongly feel that every teenager should read it. It just may save some lives.
